The iPhone’s first penny stock app is now for sale in the iTunes store.

Based on the current volume of app submissions, 87% of applications are being approved within 14 days as of Oct 23, 2009.  The penny stock app was submitted on October 9th.  We received an email on October 21st requesting a very small change.  It was made right away and now we have to wait and undetermined amount of time…

November 6th 2009,  we used the star icon to represent the featured stock in the UI tab bar.  Well we should have thought about that a little more because the star is the standard Favorites Icon.  We are back to waiting for approval and will keep you posted!

Next month will see Rogers Wireless lose its iPhone exclusivity in Canada, according to the Globe and Mail.

Although neither company has yet made an official announcement, sources say both Bell Canada and Telus Corp will confirm Apple partnerships this week and start offering Apple’s phone in November. The news will break the monopoly Rogers has held on the popular smartphone for over a year. Read more »
